How Axel Neumann expresses this silently burning fanaticism with great almost lovable naturalness, is absolutely brilliant. More and more it becomes difficult for the viewer to decide whether this Lucheni in Neumann's personification is mad or completely normal. Besides both Laxdal and Neumann are tremendously able to present their dialogues subtly and sophistically, without acting theatrically.
